Cyworld & ConocoPhillips Grant

As part of Andrew's participation in the National Vocabulary Championship he was given the opportunity to write a $2000 community grant sponsored by Cyworld http://us.cyworld.com/main/index.php He wrote a grant that would purchase a classroom set of TI-89 Titanium calculators for future calculus classes and the calculus teacher at Nipomo High School.

He wrote and received the grant and then asked for a matching grant from ConocoPhillips to complete the set. Here is a picture of Andrew, Mrs. Kandel, Ben and Kent Penningroth.
