Everything new and different

Tomorrow is the first day of Andrew's senior year in high school. It will be a new school, new city, and new commute. He will have a very full schedule and so it will be a busy year. He will be taking AP Calculus BC, War & Literature, Independent Study Spanish, Senior Seminar, Art History and AP Physics. He will be doing both Chorus and Band-alternating days. We want to wish him the best of luck and we think he is handling all these changes with integrity and maturity.

I hope to take some pictures in the morning and post them soon.

Flowering Landscape

A little over a month ago we had some landscape work done. The yard is looking good and I like all the color. The flowers have been attracting lots of hummingbirds. I am not good at capturing a hummingbird picture!

One month to closing day

I haven't posted this news, but most people who read this blog are aware that we will be moving to New Orleans. It looks like our closing is set for July 31 and move in day should be August 1. Of course that could change!!! We have lots to do this week in California - from inspections and appraisers to enjoying the beautiful weather while we can.
