Remodeling Continues

All the tile has been removed from the floor in the house. Wood has arrived and will be installed beginning on the 16th of April. Removing the carpet is next!!

Frost in the Park

At 7:30 this morning there is still frost in the park. Although our thermometer read 40 degrees this morning, there was a lot of frost in the neighborhood. The strawberry ground cover is in full bloom and the rogue cala lily has reappeared!

Future Planning

The calendar for next school year has been finalized and it looks like the last day of school will be Friday, June 13, 2008. This year graduation is on the last Friday of the school year - we can be reasonably sure that Andrew's high school graduation will be either Friday, Saturday or Sunday, June 13-15, 2008.

On Monday afternoon Andrew will compete in the National Vocabulary Championship at the New York City Public Library in New York City. I know he is excited and ready to compete!! I hope to update this blog with a few entries before the competition.....

MORNING NEWS

Andrew appeared as a guest on the KCOY morning show today. We did tape it and they do some podcasts of segments so hopefully that will happen.
